Every January 15 is Armed Forces Remembrance Day (AFRD) in Nigeria, which commemorates the fallen and honors the living veterans of the Nigerian Armed Forces. The day also honors veterans of World War I and II, as well as the Nigerian Civil War, and DJ Mohzaic has drop this mix for all the brave heros of the Nigerian Army.

In 2024, the name of the day was changed to “Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day” to celebrate the serving members of the Armed Forces.

The Nigerian Army Day is celebrated on July 6, which is believed to be the day the Glover Hausas were formed. The Glover Hausas eventually became the Nigerian Army.
